Competition Matches
All competition matches are to be played by the day set down in
the programme. A player/players who HAVE NOT completed their
match on or before the day scheduled will lose the match by default.
Club Championships
Qualifying: Stroke play. Best 2 out of
3 rounds. Semi-finals and final for Silver and Bronze 1 are
Match Play over 36 holes. Bronze 2 and Bronze 3 are over 18
holes.
All Club Championship matches are to be played from Championship tees.
Wednesday players play their competition on the Wednesday or Thursday
preceding the Saturday competition.

Conditions of play
Saturday Starting Time
Play will normally commence at 11.00am on
Saturdays; Players wishing to participate in the day's
Competitions, and who wish to start at an earlier time, must obtain
clearance from the Match Committee.
Official Starting Tees
1 & 10 Tees are the official starting tees for all
competitions. Approval to start from other tees must be obtained
from the Match Committee.
Filling In of Cards
For all competitions individual cards are to be
completed and handed in immediately on completion of a round.
Cards must be clearly written and have all the appropriate information
entered, that is; Players: Club ID & Membership ID, full name,
handicap index, handicap, competition, date, 18-hole score, the player's
and the scorers signatures. Incomplete cards will not be
accepted.
Playing of Matches
Competition Matches
All matches must be played on the day set down in the programme unless
prior arrangements have been made with your opponent and match committee
to play the game earlier than the scheduled date. The Sunday
of the weekend of which a match is scheduled to be played shall be the
last day on which that match may be played. A player/s who
has/have not made prior arrangements and does/do not arrive by 11.45am
on the scheduled day set day in the programme will lose by default.
Club Championships
Qualifying best 2 out of 3 rounds. Semi and finals
for Senior, Intermediate A and B and Juniors are over 36 Holes.
Junior B, 18 holes. All Club Championship Matches shall be
played from the Championship Tees.
Starter's Responsibilities
Starters should arrive in time to prepare starting sheets,
collect money payable for competitions and assist with checking scores.
Any queries should be referred to a member of the Match committee.
Two starters to tee off first to start cards and assist in the Bar.
Starters are asked to arrange a substitute if unable to attend.
